Candy Crush Soda Saga and viral social star Kyle Gordon have joined forces for an exciting takeover at the Rip Curl WSL Finals. In a unique collaboration, Candy Crush Soda Saga is bringing the adrenaline of the World Surf League (WSL) into the iconic match-3 mobile game with the new tournament, “Soda Surf Cup.”

Kyle Gordon, known for his TikTok fame and hit song “Planet of the Bass,” will debut his new comic persona, Crush Sodason, a wannabe legendary surfer. He will share hilarious videos on social media starting from September 11th, documenting his journey to become the next surfing sensation. Fans can follow Crush’s adventures on Kyle Gordon’s TikTok and Instagram channels, with additional exclusive content available on Candy Crush’s social media platforms.

The Soda Surf Cup, inspired by the WSL’s most-watched event, will take place in Candy Crush Soda Saga from September 7th to October 2nd. Players will experience the thrill of the waves with surfboard candies, a diorama featuring fan-favorites Soda Gummy Bears and Yeti riding waves, and much more. The grand prize includes a custom surfboard created by renowned surfboard shaper Matt Biolos and signed by the WSL Final 5 live at the Rip Curl WSL Finals event. Players also have a chance to win a one-year supply of gold bars.

The partnership between Candy Crush Soda Saga and the World Surf League has created a perfect blend of fun and competition. Todd Green, General Manager of the Candy Crush Franchise, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating that Candy Crush Soda Saga players and WSL pros are equally up for a challenge. If you happen to be in California during the Rip Curl WSL Finals, you might catch Crush Sodason training at your favorite beach in San Clemente on September 7th. Candy Crush Soda Saga has planned refreshing experiences from September 8th to September 16th, including sweet treats, giveaways, and a meet-and-greet with the popular Soda Gummy Bear mascots.
