The Kia America team is celebrating a remarkable achievement as the modified 2024 Telluride X-Pro secured a hard-fought third-place finish in the X-Cross™️ class of the 2023 Rebelle Rally. Competing against challenging terrains spanning over 1,500 miles, driver Verena Mei and navigator Susie Saxten showcased their skill and determination in this grueling multi-day rally. The Telluride X-Pro, equipped with enhancements by Baja Forged, proved to be a formidable contender, contributing to Kia’s fourth podium appearance in the Rebelle Rally.

Unwavering Determination and Enhanced Capability:
Despite facing formidable competition, Verena Mei and Susie Saxten demonstrated unwavering determination throughout the eight-day competition. The modified Telluride X-Pro showcased its enhanced capability as it conquered rocky trails, deep washes, and steep sand dunes without encountering any major issues. Remarkably, the team didn’t even need to change a tire during the rally, a testament to the vehicle’s reliability and durability.

In previous years, Kia had remarkable performances with podium finishes. In 2022, a modified 2023 Sportage competed, while two modified 2022 Sorento PHEVs secured second and third place in 2021. In 2020, the Telluride followed closely behind first place, securing a commendable second-place win.
