Delicious Offerings:
True to its name, Nana’s Chicken-n-Waffles delivers authentic southern flavors. The menu boasts a variety of waffles, including malted traditional and red velvet. Soon, customers can also enjoy “fried ice cream” served over a waffle—a unique twist on a classic treat.

“During Black Restaurant Week Atlanta from August 6th – 13th the ‘Traditional Chicken-n-Waffles Only’ will be offered for $10.00 as part of the celebration. Visit the McDonough, Georgia location and celebrate with us” – Kelli Ferrell (Owner)

Chef Kelli’s Culinary Journey:
Chef Kelli Ferrell’s culinary prowess extends beyond the restaurant. Her cookbook, “Kooking with Kelli,” was released in July 2022, and she is currently working on a Mommy & Me cookbook inspired by her twin daughters’ passion for cooking. Kelli has made appearances on popular shows like Guy’s Grocery Games, Access Hollywood, and GMA’s cooking series. She recently collaborated with Four Fat Cows in Buckhead, Georgia, to create the mouthwatering ice cream flavor “I love you a Waffle-LOT.”

Community Involvement and Future Plans:
Kelli Ferrell’s dedication to community service shines through her efforts to feed over 500 hospital workers during the pandemic. Her commitment was recognized with a proclamation declaring March 11th as “Kelli Ferrell Day” in the City of Atlanta. As Nana’s flagship location in Conyers closed its doors after six successful years, Kelli is excited to find a new and updated location in Conyers. Additionally, she is on the lookout for the perfect spot in Midtown Atlanta, and customers can always expect surprises from the Nana’s Food Truck.

Nana’s Chicken & Waffles is setting the stage for a memorable Black Restaurant Week Atlanta with their mouthwatering “Traditional Chicken & Waffles” special. Kelli Ferrell’s dedication to culinary excellence, community service, and empowering women in the restaurant industry has made Nana’s a beloved establishment. As her culinary journey continues, customers can look forward to more delightful surprises and new locations to experience the true taste of Southern hospitality.
