Prey is the Best of Predator Sequels
The Motion Picture debuted on HULU this month.
The Predator franchise has a new shining star and the name is Prey. Without any spoilers, I can say that the story takes place in the past, in the 1700s to be exact in the Comanche nation.
Naru is a warrior or one in training. She longs to be included in the hunt with her older brother and the other seemingly more seasoned young warriors. We get to see how she handles herself in the wild compared to the others. This is how we learn early on that she has skills that are in many ways superior to her male counterparts.
The challenges and the dangers happen quickly for Naru, as she continues her journey to become a warrior, but she soon faces greater dangers.
Prey is cinematically well done and the story draws you in with a strong storyline and is also a well-paced action film.
That’s all I will say at this time because I did say no spoilers.
I highly recommend Prey, it is much more than a mere prequel to the original. Prey is now playing on HULU.
