 SKYY® Vodka has today announced its “SKYY Says I Do” campaign in partnership with NYC Pride, as an extension of the vodka brand’s ongoing support of marriage equality and the LGBTQIA+ community.



The award-winning vodka brand, in partnership with NYC Pride, will also host a pop-up wedding chapel for couples looking to wed in New York City.

The campaign will cover the costs of wedding ceremonies for 100 couples nationwide via a digital sweepstakes hosted on Instagram in celebration of marriage equality, as well as host a pop up chapel in NYC.

Starting today, couples will have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win by creating and sharing a picture of themselves with their partner, toasting to marriage equality, and tagging @SKYYVodka and #SKYYSaysIDo on Instagram.

In addition to the social media sweepstakes, SKYY and NYC Pride, which supports community outreach efforts, are hosting a pop-up wedding chapel, which will be open to anyone and everyone 21+ in New York City looking to officially wed this holiday season. The pop-up will provide couples with everything they need for their big day including the venue, officiant, photographer, as well as delicious food and SKYY cocktails. For couples interested in getting married at the pop-up wedding chapel, all participants need to do is register their details and then show up ready with their marriage license on the day, ready to be wed. Romania’s First Single Malt Whisky Kicks Off the Alexandrion Group’s Worldwide Tour on World Whisky Day



To mark World Whisky Day on May 21st, the Alexandrion Group embarked on their world tour to promote the first ever single malt, Carpathian whisky, produced in Romania

OTOPENI, Romania /PRNewswire/ — The Alexandrion Group, the largest Romanian spirits and wine producer and distributor, is introducing the first ever single malt whisky produced in Romania. To mark this monumental occasion, the group has embarked on a world tour which began at the end of May. The first stop was a lavish event at the residence of the Romanian Ambassador to the United States in Washington D.C., on May 25th.

“I was delighted to support, on behalf of the Romanian Embassy to the USA, the unveiling of the first Romanian single malt whisky in Washington D.C. I am glad to see Romanian companies such as the Alexandrion Group, expanding overseas,” said H.E. Mr. Nawaf Salameh, Alexandrion Group’s Founding Chairman, said: “In July, Romania and the USA will mark 25 years of strategic partnership. This was a perfect context to present our Carpathian Single Malt Whisky in the country where we are building a very large distillery, and also at the residence of the Romanian Ambassador. I am grateful to Ambassador Muraru for his generosity in welcoming us all into his residence to celebrate one of the most important accomplishments in the history of our group.”

Under the direction of Mr. Salameh, and his master distiller, Allan Anderson, the group has developed a high-quality product made using 100% malted barley produced in Romania and pure Sub-Carpathian water, renowned for its quality. This single malt is distilled, matured and bottled at the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distilleries, located near the Carpathian Mountains. Carpathian Single Malt is natural colored, unchill filtered and bottled at 46% alcohol.

Carpathian Single Malt was matured in Romanian wine casks, a world premiere in terms of single malt production. Alexandrion Group is one of the few companies in the world that use casks from their own wine production facilities to mature single malt whisky. Earlier this year, the Fetească Neagră variety was awarded the Double Gold medal in one of the most prestigious international wine competitions, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, and is considered the best red Romanian wine, exhibiting spicy, smoky fruit characters and good tannin structure.

Three expressions of the first Romanian single malt will be presented to the world during the tour: Fetească Neagră and Pinot Noir as part of the Romanian Wine Cask Selection, and Madeira, as part of the Spanish & Portuguese Wine Cask Selection. Fetească Neagră and Madeira were initially matured in first-fill Bourbon casks, while the Pinot Noir expression was exclusively matured in Romanian Pinot Noir casks.

The huge flavor impact of our malted barley, the pure Sub-Carpathian water combined with the unique flavors of Romanian and Portuguese wine casks make Carpathian Single Malt an exquisite whisky, which without a doubt, will become one of the best in the world as it further matures. The maturation in warmer climate regions versus Scotland (+41°F on average) might explain the unique, milder character of this superb whisky. NEW YORK, June 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Returning to Tribeca Festival for the fourth year in a row, Bulleit Frontier Whiskey is collaborating with independent creators and artists to converge film, music and art to ignite conversation and action around its Tree Equity mission in partnership with American Forests.

Bulleit Frontier Whiskey will be commissioning a collection of interactive art by New York muralist “ELLE StreetArt” and UnitedMasters independent artists to raise money for American Forests’ Tree Equity program, ensuring everyone, everywhere can share in the benefits of trees. 

  • “ART BARRELS” – Is a first-of-its-kind art installation in collaboration with top touring street artist, “ELLE StreetArt” to transform Bulleit’s highly coveted bourbon barrels into unique artworks that will double as planters where Tribeca attendees can plant tree seedlings for Tree Equity. “ART BARRELS” will be stationed at key Tribeca Festival locations where festival goers can take part in seedling plantings – the first step in the tree planting process. The seedlings will then be cultivated and used in a future New York City tree planting, benefiting the local community for years to come. To date, Bulleit and American Forests have successfully planted one million trees, restoring more than 2,000 acres of US forest landscapes.
  • “LIMITED EDITION VINYL” – Bulleit Frontier Whiskey will host the opening night of the “Tribeca Music Lounge” to celebrate and support talented, up-and-coming independent artists. In honor of the artists taking the stage – Bulleit, in continued collaboration with independent music company UnitedMasters, will release a limited-edition run of vinyl featuring music from VIP showcase performers. The one-of-a-kind vinyl will include custom cover art by UnitedMasters artist, Chaz “ALLBLCK” Morgan.
