- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits
Instructions:
- In a slow cooker, combine the chicken, onion, garlic, carrots, celery, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, whisk together the heavy cream and flour in a small bowl until smooth. Stir into the slow cooker.
- Add the frozen peas and corn and stir to combine.
- Cut the biscuits into quarters and add to the slow cooker. Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the biscuits are cooked through.
