Originally scheduled for December 11, the launch was postponed due to a ground equipment issue. However, if all goes according to plan, the Falcon Heavy will carry the 29-foot-long X-37B into orbit on its seventh mission. The X-37B serves as a testbed for new space technologies, with most of its mission details classified.

While the exact duration of the upcoming mission remains unknown, previous X-37B flights have shown a trend of increasing duration. The most recent mission lasted an impressive 908 days before returning to Earth in November 2022. This suggests that the upcoming flight will likely be lengthy as well.

For those eager to witness the launch, SpaceX will provide a live stream on Space.com. As we eagerly await this next chapter in SpaceX’s achievements, the Falcon Heavy’s impending flight represents another milestone in the company’s pursuit of advancing space exploration and technology.
