- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup of salsa
- 1 package of taco shells
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, hot sauce
Instructions:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef or turkey and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks.
- Once the meat is browned, add the taco seasoning and stir to coat the meat.
- Add the black beans and salsa to the skillet and stir to combine. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- While the meat mixture is simmering, heat the taco shells in the oven according to the package instructions.
- Once the taco shells are heated, fill them with the meat mixture and any desired toppings.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
