Blizzard Teams Up with Mila Kunis for WoW Charity Pet Pack
Blizzard and Mila Kunis collaborate for WoW Charity Pet Pack, supporting BlueCheck Ukraine’s critical humanitarian work.
Blizzard Entertainment, the creators of World of Warcraft, have joined forces with Ukrainian-born actress and producer Mila Kunis and BlueCheck Ukraine for a special charity initiative. BlueCheck Ukraine, co-founded by actor and activist Liev Schreiber, supports Ukrainian NGOs and aid initiatives providing critical humanitarian work in the midst of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
To aid their efforts, Blizzard Entertainment has launched the World of Warcraft Pet Pack for Ukraine. From July 25 to August 29, players can purchase the exclusive Pet Pack for $20, with all proceeds going directly to support BlueCheck’s work in helping the victims of war. The pack includes two pets, Sunny (a golden retriever pet) for World of Warcraft characters, and Flurky (a murloc pet holding a sunflower) for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic characters.
Mila Kunis expressed her support, stating, “The World of Warcraft community is the first gaming community I was ever a part of, and I know how giving they can be. I’m proud to make a difference alongside them.” BlueCheck co-founder Liev Schreiber expressed gratitude to the World of Warcraft community for their help, emphasizing the unrelenting need for humanitarian aid and support in Ukraine.
Holly Longdale, the executive producer of World of Warcraft, highlighted the game’s global community and their history of supporting charitable causes. She believes the players will step up to help the people of Ukraine through their generous donations.
In addition to purchasing the Pet Pack, players can also choose to make an optional donation to BlueCheck Ukraine while making a digital World of Warcraft purchase. The initiative aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the courageous and resilient people of Ukraine.
Blizzard Entertainment’s charity pet program has raised millions of dollars over the years to support those in need. By participating in the Pet Pack for Ukraine, World of Warcraft players can contribute to the life-saving work of BlueCheck Ukraine and provide vital assistance to those affected by the ongoing conflict.
