Life Time Unveils Major Pickleball Expansion at Annapolis Town Center

Announced on October 9, 2024, this 46,000-square-foot expansion doubles the size of Life Time Annapolis, turning it into a nearly 90,000-square-foot athletic country club.
A New Era for Pickleball Enthusiasts
With pickleball rapidly becoming the fastest-growing sport in the nation, Life Time is meeting this demand head-on with the addition of 11 permanent pickleball courts. These courts will cater to open play, leagues, clinics, and tournaments, and are complemented by courtside social lounges designed for both viewing and hosting events. This new emphasis on pickleball echoes Life Time’s broader strategy, as it has rolled out more than 750 pickleball courts nationwide since 2021.
Enhanced Fitness and Recovery Spaces
This expansion isn’t just about pickleball; it’s about offering a holistic health experience. Life Time Annapolis now includes small group training areas and spaces for its exclusive Alpha, GTX, and UltraFit classes. These new spaces will be outfitted with top-tier cardio and strength training equipment.
Taking fitness further, the location introduces Life Time Recovery and mobility services, featuring hydro and cryo massage chairs, percussion massage, and compression boots to ensure proper recovery and wellness.
