Voyeuristic Social Thriller “PRIVACY” Marks Its Debut at BIFAN
“PRIVACY” is a neo-noir film that explores themes of personal privacy, mental health, and access to information through a hyperrealistic and dark approach to urban video surveillance.

Writer-director Sudeep Kanwal’s debut feature-length directorial venture, “PRIVACY” has been selected for the official screening at the Bucheon International Film Festival (BIFAN). BIFAN, being the premium genre cinema event of Asia, is known for showcasing the best of genre cinema to the audience.
“PRIVACY” is a way to explore the complexities of a city’s different social and economic classes using the city of Mumbai as a background. The story of “PRIVACY” revolves around the lives of people belonging to different economic backgrounds. “PRIVACY” is a film produced by Fundamental Pictures in partnership with House of Talent Studio. The lead role is played by Rajshri Deshpande, who is known for her exceptional performance in Netflix India’s “Trial by Fire“. The rest of the cast is composed of talented Indian actors including Nishank Verma and Sandesh Kulkarni. The film is produced by Shlok Sharma and Navin Shetty, with Ranjit Gugle as the executive producer. Harshvardhan Wagdhare is the cinematographer, while Samyuktha Narendran composed the score.
