Stu Upson, CEO of USA Pickleball, named Commissioner of NPL Pickleball
“USA Pickleball CEO Stu Upson named NPL Pickleball Commissioner, overseeing professional league for Champions Pros with $100k prize money.”
Stu Upson, the current CEO of USA Pickleball, has been named the inaugural Commissioner of the National Pickleball League (NPL), effective June 1, 2023. The NPL is the first and only professional pickleball league for Champions Pros (players age 50+).

Mr. Upson will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the competition and working with team owners to address any issues that may arise.

The NPL’s regular season weekends will take place from June to September, culminating in a season-ending Championships in October at Chicken N Pickle’s new Glendale (Phoenix) Arizona’s indoor facility, where the Championship title and $100,000 in prize money will be on the line.
