Apple offers more ways than ever to order the all-new iPhone 15 and Apple Watch lineups

Starting tomorrow, September 15, customers can pre-order Apple’s incredible new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models and choose from a number of financing, delivery, and pickup options offered only in Apple Retail.

Customers can pre-order the iPhone 15 lineup beginning Friday, September 15

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus represent a huge leap forward with the Dynamic Island and impressive camera upgrades, while iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max feature a strong and lightweight titanium design and A17 Pro for next-level performance. The new Apple Watch lineup introduces Apple’s first carbon-neutral product and the new S9 SiP.

Get Ready

Apple is making it easier than ever for customers to get ready for pre-orders of the iPhone 15 lineup. Until 9 p.m. PDT on Thursday, September 14, customers can get a head start on pre-orders by choosing their new iPhone 15 model, selecting their preferred payment method, and leaving the product in their shopping bag — so they’re only a click away to place their order once pre-orders open at 5 a.m. PDT on Friday, September 15.

Apple Watch Series 9Apple Watch Ultra 2, and AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging (USB-C) — the perfect companions to iPhone — are already available to order. Along with the iPhone 15 lineup, these new products will be available beginning Friday, September 22.

Carbon Neutral Apple Watch Models

For the first time, customers can choose a carbon neutral model from each Apple Watch collection — Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and Apple Watch SE. This represents a significant milestone toward Apple 2030: Apple’s plan to be carbon neutral across the supply chain and the entire life cycle of products by the year 2030.

Apple Retail Services

Whether online, in-store, or in the Apple Store app, Apple Retail offers an incredible experience for customers to get connected with expert team members, find the product that best suits their needs, and learn how to get the most out of their products.

All the choice. Customers can connect with an Apple Retail team member for a Shop with a Specialist session online, over video, or at their local Apple Store, and receive personalized advice on buying and setting up a new device.

Customers can also express their style by engraving their device with a mix of emoji, text, and numbers, offered for free only at apple.com for iPad, AirTag, AirPods, and Apple Pencil. The Apple Watch Studio, available on the Apple Store Online, gives customers the opportunity to choose their preferred case and band combination to create a look that is uniquely their own.

All the ways to buy. By shopping directly at Apple, customers can upgrade to the new iPhone 15 lineup and get great carrier deals and a range of affordable financing options. Apple Specialists can also help customers activate their new iPhone with select U.S. carriers right in the Apple Store, ensuring a seamless customer experience from purchase through setup.

Through the Apple Trade In program, customers can choose between a credit toward an upgrade, or an Apple Gift Card they can use anytime on apple.com or at their local Apple Store. As always, if the device isn’t eligible for credit, Apple will recycle it for free as part of the company’s commitment to the environment. Along with electronic products, Apple Trade In also lets you recycle batteries and charging cables at an Apple Store location and on apple.com for free.

When customers shop at Apple using Apple Card, they can pay monthly at 0 percent APR for their new iPhone, Apple Watch, and eligible accessories when they choose to check out with Apple Card Monthly Installments and they’ll get 3 percent Daily Cash back — all upfront.

All the delivery and pickup methods. Easy Pay Online Ordering is an exciting offering that allows customers to purchase both available Apple products and inventory not in stock in-store and have them shipped to their home all in one transaction. Through this feature, customers can now seamlessly choose to ship or take home what’s available today at their local Apple Store, while the remaining items in their order get delivered at a later date.

How High-Speed Internet Can Help Spark Community Vitality

(Family Features) Most Americans consider high-speed internet an essential household service. Yet in rural America, an estimated 25% of the population doesn’t have access to broadband, limiting their economic growth and access to career opportunities and resources such as education and health care.

The connectivity that expanding high-speed internet availability can provide creates opportunities, and some businesses are taking that mission quite seriously. For example, over the past year and a half, Cox Communications has expanded its fiber network to reach more than 55,000 households that were previously unserved or underserved.

Measuring the impact of access to high-speed internet is an important step in expanding availability and solving the digital equity problem. The 2023 Cox Expansion Impact Survey revealed 86% of customers with service for at least one month believe the service has improved their lives.

The survey also revealed three core areas where high-speed internet is changing lives for the better:

Retaining Younger Generations
As many young adults head off to college or leave their hometowns for better job opportunities, they contribute to shrinking rural communities. However, high-speed internet access can allow younger generations to remain in their communities with prospects of remote learning and working. In fact, 70% of survey respondents 30 or younger said they are more likely to stay in their communities if they can access a high-speed connection, and three-quarters of millennials and younger said they’re open to remote working opportunities, which makes staying in their communities possible.

By staying in their communities, rather than moving to urban areas to find employment, young adults are more likely to find affordable housing and less traffic. It also means the younger generation can stay close to the communities where they grew up, where their support network, including family members and friends, are nearby.

Driving Local Economic Prosperity
High-speed internet stimulates economic growth and businesses need it to succeed. When businesses do well and grow, their successes can have a multiplier effect on the local economy as residents have more job opportunities. In fact, the majority (53%) of survey respondents – including 75% of millennials and younger – feel more optimistic about their economic and employment future with the availability of high-speed internet in their communities.

Bridging Income and Education Gaps
For families without high-speed internet access, there are significant educational challenges, such as accessing educational resources available outside of their textbooks or classrooms, especially in lower-income households. Students lacking broadband often encounter difficulties completing homework, falling behind, receiving lower grades and sometimes even failing to graduate – potentially limiting career opportunities and future prosperity.

The majority of lower-income families surveyed (7 in 10) believe high-speed internet will improve their children’s test grades, and almost 90% said it will improve their abilities to apply to colleges or vocational schools after high school graduation. In fact, the survey revealed high-speed internet is twice as likely to improve the education of children in lower-income families than higher-income ones.
