Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day: Educating and Empowering Dog Owners
“Join us on Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day to raise awareness, educate dog owners, and empower them in the fight against this devastating disease. #CanineLymphomaAwarenessDay”

National Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day, observed on November 7th, serves as a platform to educate and raise awareness about canine lymphoma, a devastating disease that affects our beloved four-legged companions.
The inception of this day can be traced back to Terry Simons, a renowned dog agility trainer, and competitor. When Terry’s cherished canine companion, Reveille, was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2011, he encountered a lack of accurate information and treatment options. Determined to make a difference, Terry established the CLEAR (Canine Lymphoma Education Awareness and Research) foundation in honor of Reveille.
The mission of CLEAR is to provide valuable information, resources, and support to dog owners facing canine lymphoma. By empowering them with knowledge, CLEAR ensures that they can make informed decisions and become advocates for their furry family members.
On Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day, you can contribute to the cause in various ways. Educate yourself about the signs and impact of the disease, support research efforts through donations or fundraisers, and share your knowledge on social media using the hashtag #CanineLymphomaAwarenessDay.
National Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day, established in 2015, continues to make significant strides in spreading awareness and fostering research to combat this devastating disease. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our canine companions and provide hope for a brighter future.

Understanding the Hidden Dangers of LDL (Bad) Cholesterol

- LDL (low-density lipoprotein) Cholesterol: This is the “bad” cholesterol. When too much LDL cholesterol circulates in the blood, it can build up in the inner walls of the arteries that feed the heart and brain, forming plaque that can narrow and eventually block these arteries, leading to heart attack or stroke.
- HDL (high-density lipoprotein) Cholesterol: Known as the “good” cholesterol, HDL helps remove the “bad” cholesterol from the arteries, protecting against heart attack and stroke.
