Homemade Chicken Alfredo Recipe:

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Begin by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for a few minutes until it thickens up slightly.
  5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir until it has melted completely. Let it cook for a few more minutes until the sauce has thickened up to your liking.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss it with the Alfredo sauce until it’s fully coated.
  7. Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and toss it with the pasta and sauce.
  8. Serve the homemade chicken Alfredo immediately, topped with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Enjoy!
