The Pickleball Club Expands with Two New Florida Locations in Orlando and Greenacres
The Pickleball Club expands with new locations in Orlando and Greenacres, Florida, offering state-of-the-art indoor facilities.
SARASOTA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Pickleball Club, a company focused on developing and operating high-amenity indoor pickleball facilities, has recently secured two new locations in Florida. With its successful track record, the firm is expanding its footprint with a site in Orlando, Orange County, and another in Greenacres, Palm Beach County. These new additions demonstrate the growing popularity of pickleball and the club’s commitment to providing exceptional facilities for its members.
Orlando Location:
The Pickleball Club has acquired a 3.4-acre parcel at 1427 N. Semoran Blvd. in Orlando for its eighth location. The forthcoming 33,800-square-foot climate-controlled facility will feature 12 indoor pickleball courts, a Players’ Courtyard with two outdoor pickleball courts and two bocce ball courts, and ample parking with 130 spaces. Additionally, the club will offer a 3,900-square-foot Players’ Lounge mezzanine overlooking the courts, a restaurant called Pickle’s Café, and Dink’s Pro Shop. Construction is expected to commence in June 2024, with a grand opening planned for the summer of 2025.
Greenacres Location:
The Pickleball Club has also secured its ninth site, a 4.9-acre parcel located at 5234 S Haverhill Road in Greenacres. This state-of-the-art facility will span 41,140 square feet and house 16 indoor pickleball courts, a Players’ Courtyard with three covered outdoor courts and two bocce ball courts, and dedicated parking with 184 spaces. Members will have access to a 3,850-square-foot Players’ Lounge overlooking the courts, Dink’s Pro Shop, and Pickle’s Café, fostering a vibrant and social atmosphere. Groundbreaking for the Greenacres location is expected in June 2024, with an anticipated opening in the summer of 2025.

The city of Greenacres has expressed its enthusiasm for welcoming The Pickleball Club to the area. Andrea McCue, the city manager, highlights the facility’s modern amenities, including its ability to cater to all ages and skill levels, promote socialization, and support a healthy lifestyle. The club’s expansion into Greenacres is expected to provide a unique experience for its members while fostering relationships within the community.
Future Growth and Development:
The Pickleball Club’s initial location near Lakewood Ranch in Sarasota has already gained traction, attracting nearly 600 members. The company’s expansion plans include additional sites in Port St. Lucie, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, The Villages, Pinellas Park, and Venice. These forthcoming facilities will further contribute to the growth of pickleball and create more opportunities for individuals to enjoy this popular sport.
